Happy Monday!

After a LONG weekend of a horrible sickness that fell upon me Thursday afternoon, I am back up and my normal self today! Sarah is also getting back in our routine of things today as well:)  I'm trying out the new blogger app on my iPhone today and I kinda like it! 

I wanted to start the day with this quote that I read by Beth Moore in her book Breaking Free

"As long as the sun comes up in the morning, God will keep offering to deliver his children" 

It's such a great promise. Living in Christ gives us liberty and freedom and deliverance from our captivities. Even as Christians, we can get caught in our own bondage. When we seek deliverance from it, we are freed and refreshed. Maybe you need that this morning? I know there are days when I need His deliverance! What a promise!

Maybe you have never been delivered from your sin? You know Jesus died on the cross, but you aren't really sure what that means. This promise is for you too! The promise of salavtion is for You today! 

Romans 10:9-10. (Esv)

"because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."

Welcome to my blog! I hope you are as excited as I am to start this new blog for the new season in my life. Let me tell you a little about myself:

I love and serve Jesus Christ. He's my Savior and the only hope I can ever trust in.
My husband's name is Josh. He's an RN.
My daughter's name is Sarah. (she's 8 months old)
I love to cook and eat!
I love the color blue.
I'm not the best blogger, but I'm going to give it a shot.
Hogans Heroes and Get Smart are the only TV shows I watch.

Finally, I love being a wife and mom to my wonderful Josh and Sarah! I absolutely LOVE that  I am able to stay home with my daughter and teach her God's word and his principles in her education. I am excited to see her grow up in the knowledge and love of Christ. I am thankful to my husband who is working hard, so we are able to home school Sarah and our future children we *hopefully* will have.
